Overview

ReactALL is an innovative benchtop multi-reactor system equipped with an innovative automated sampling unit and overhead stirring assembly, suited for medium-throughput experimentation. This state-of-the-art instrument is engineered to meet the demands of chemical reaction screening and optimization, including route scouting as well as process development and refinement.


It bridges the gap between high-throughput screening platforms and large laboratory reactors, delivering high-quality, data-rich experiments at medium throughput with reduced material consumption. Its sampling mechanism efficiently captures solid particles, while the stirring system maintains solids in suspension without grinding them down. An integrated camera enables real-time observation and analysis of particle size and morphology, making the system compatible with heterogeneous reactions. All these functionalities are realized in standard 5–10 mL vials via Technobis’ proprietary SmartCap™ technology.

  • Five independently controlled reactors with a working volume of 5–10 mL

  • Integrated automated sampling, quenching and dilution functions that directly dispense samples into HPLC vials; up to 18 samples can be processed per reactor

  • Sampling of heterogeneous reactions without piercing the reactor septum, yielding representative samples containing both solid and liquid phases

  • Overhead stirring via a novel helical stirrer optimized through CFD design, which evenly suspends solids without particle attrition

  • Compatible with standard vials fitted with SmartCaps™, equipped with proprietary sampling and stirring mechanisms

  • Integrated colour camera to visualize and analyse particle size, morphology and turbidity inside reactors

  • Open API architecture for seamless robot integration
