The sole purpose of the Iridia is to make laser ablation ICP-MS applications faster to run and easier to set up, together with powerful software that vastly simplifies the optimization of both laser and ICP-MS, and offers all the required data reduction tools to guarantee consistently high quality analytical data.

  • Patented Cobalt Cell for proven <1 ms to over 3s for different applications

  • Spot sizes from 0.8 µm - 160µm (up to 210 µm) 

  • Rotatable mirrors with increasing lifetime of optics

  • Low energy stability (1 – 0.01 J/cm2) for proven selective ablation of biological samples

  • Easily ablation of challenging samples like quartz and fluorite   

  • Low maintenance 

  • Small footprint

  • HDIP 2D/3D software generates quality data using peer-reviewed algorithms
