The training was successfully concluded in Fujian Disease Control

Chloropropanol ester and glycidyl ester are one of the hot pollutants in food in recent years. In order to improve its detection technology capability, Fujian Provincial Preventive Medicine Association and Fujian Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention jointly held a training course on "Detection Technology, Quality control and Risk Assessment of chloropropanol Ester and glycidyl ester in Food" from December 1 to 5, 2024. Mr. Fu, deputy director of Fujian Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention and Health Inspection, shared the report "Detection Technology and Quality Control of chloropropanol ester and glycidyl ester in Food", which detailed the background, toxicity, source, formation mechanism, health risks of pollutants, GB 5009.191-2024 detection method and technical points.

Mr. Zhang, senior product manager of Esensing, shared the "Automated Platform for Detection of chloropropanol ester and glycidyl ester in Food", focusing on the analysis of the demand background, advantages and installed users of the automation solution.

In the field experiment stage, the CDC teacher explained GB 5009.191 method in detail and demonstrated the operation. The students also practice and fully understand the testing methods.

The CDC acquired a chloropropanol and glycidyl ester automation platform in 2022. CDC teachers also demonstrated the automation platform on the spot. According to the requirements of GB 5009.191, the platform can automatically complete the internal standard addition, transesterification reaction, liquid-liquid extraction, derivatization reaction and sample injection operation, and the automatic operation has been praised by the on-site students.
